Rombha Nandri --- Ta--- Vandanegalu--- Ozasro dhanyabadi ---Valarey nandhi

I'd noticed that my blog count was showing 100 posts for this blog and to be honest I was a little surprised. A big thanks to all of you who have endured my writing over the last year and a half. I have completed a century of blog posts and am grateful to all my readers.

Now, I don't know if other people are having the same thoughts as me, or if I'm having the same thoughts of other people. Art reflecting life, life reflecting art and all that. But it seems people are being quite reflective of their own blogging.... Since i believe in Introspective Reflection !! While I've been working in my current job, I've been absorbing more and reading lots which has culminated me quite a bit to say.

My blogs are actually nothing when compared to all others post... Since i find each of others expressing their views beyond 360 degrees. I am not sure how is this actually done ?
Bloody Born Thinkers & Writters (... I am really jealous over those freaks).

Think (like) Geek...

The Internet has made it okay (even cool) to be a nerd, and web designers should be thanked for making it happen.

It’s no fun wearing a tie every day, but perhaps it wouldn’t be so bad if they had an 8-bit tie from ThinkGeek. Check out the URL, The design is totally GIF-like, and best of all. I loved the idea.
Girls only @ Night ?

During the Tea time with Praveen, Rajesh, Anamika… We were commenting about the Shell–ODC girls… Everyone presented their opinion about girls, I said Girls should be treated as Moon*.

Just in a Flash!

Praveen questioned me without understanding the meaning “What you want them only during Night hours? “.
We were laughing in despite of the fact! Ha-ha ha… but that was very spontaneous reply from him, but meaningful :-)

* What I meant is just watch them from far; never ever try to get along with them.

Fit at Work !!

The lifestyle of "Softies" (that's how some people address software professionals), doesn't allow one to have some physical exercise in daily routine. But the tips below can really help you stay fit if followed regularly.

1) Keep a bottle full of water (not less than 1.5 liters) at your desk and finish it by the end of the day.
2) Eat one fruit every day (avoid banana & cheeku - they contain fat).
3) Step out of your desk often and have a walk around.
4) Minimize the use of lift. Use stairs instead.
5) Have a glass of milk daily. Milk is considered to be "Sampoorn Aahaar" (complete food).
7) Practice deep breathing once a day for 5 minutes.
8) Learn yoga (breathing exercises) and do it 2-3 times while working (that is the beauty of Yoga - you can do it even when you are sitting and working). Stretch for your arms and legs while sitting, Don't bend while walking or sitting.
9) Keep some healthy snacks (like dry fruits or fresh fruits or Aamla candy to name a few) in your desk drawer. Munch on it 2-3 times a day. Don't eat junk food.
10) Talk to people around you and smile. Even better if you can laugh. But do not gossip.

Expect more from yourself than from others;
B'coz expectation from others hurts while expectation from yourself inspires!!

Thanks to Praveen for Sharing it via Mail
Happy Days;

..... truly reflects campus life from Day 1 to Farewell Day. Its like watching a college campus video.

Story Out-Line;

Ego clash because of the guy wants to kiss the girl, Possesiveness, Junior - Senior difference in Love, Friendship, Love !!

Its the pleasant story of boys and girls studying in a college. Happy Days, that's part autobiographical and part imagination, portraiting eight fresher as they go through regular campus life experiences that include: studies, Ragging, Friendship,Love.

Fist half of the film goes with introduction of characters. Second half appears to be little dragged but thats totally necessary for what happens when four love stories are to be concluded. I like the pair Rajesh & Appu, awesome chemistry.

Direction;

Director dares to take a totally different approach to movie making and story telling. It's a wonder what Sekhar has done with eight raw talents that had hardly faced the camera before. He extracts the best from these chaps and makes the characters as real as it's possible. There are a lot of things to be learnt from the movie.For those that are still in college, Happy Days can provide a newer perspective of their campus lives.

Minus;

- I feel Director Shekar could have added a bit more about parent's -children friction and how they come to understanding.
- The film is good on a whole but it pleases only the audiences who are aware of campus education. It is not a right dish for typical mass audiences anyway. It appeals for multiplex audiences, educated crowds. So, might loose the collection from those crowd.
- One boy from Village was introduced very well, But there is a ending to that character without the justification how he managed to learn English, Communication ???
- Tyson doing some scientific tricks. The extent of the tricks should have been limited.

Plus;

+ Micki J Mayors music has a separate mark for itself.
+ Camera man has captured every expressions of the student reaction inside the classroom, in Fight & Songs with a very natural feel.

Impressed;

1. The separation scene of Tyson and Sravanthi is very fascinating.
2. The way he ended the love thread between Tyson and Sravanthi.( ha ha ... or else it would have been the message by the director that it is ok to love your senior girls in the college.)
3. Farewell Song.

I loved the message that director tried to present a boy's character is judged by the kind of girls he roams with,Then what ever you are before, The college life may fail you to achieve great academic rewards, but it will definitely give you the ability to achieve any thing. College Days are Happy Days. The days that follow college days are purposeful days.

Questioning Habits ... want some Loud Silences !

Many of you know this... I have the questioning habits a lot... At least for time pass, i do this to know things.... Many questions pops in my head.... ! But in Tamil there is a phrase "இடம், பொருள், ஏவல் !".... Means consider Place,Situation before Talking/conveying your thoughts..... So something has always stopped me in asking or I have left out in Fear/shyness.

Well, ... Then i thought why not i put those questions here through this blog?
If somebody could post a reply..I would at least get an answer !
OK... Here i go...

What happens to our soul after Death ?
what are the 3 main things needed to Man other than Food, Dress & Shelter ?
Petrol Hike... where is my understanding Wrong ??

Why are the only public sector oil refining companies bleeding all time? They are inefficient. The crude cost is only one part of the petrol cost, what about cost of refining and distribution etc? Our refineries are old and machinery fully depreciated. Why is our cost so high? It is a mischief to compare rates with those in some other countries. Even in USA, petrol is cheaper than in India,not even considering purchase price parity.The dollar has depreciated more than 15% since last one year, that has brought down the import bill. What about our own crude resources in Bombay High etc? What is ONGC giving the country? Do we have to pay the cost of imported crude even for our own national wealth? Is the production by ONGC insignificant? How come then it is one of the largest corporations?Many questions, but only answer given is oil companies are losing money.What a damned shame and what a mess the politicians and the public sectors have created here. But Reliance has never ever come up with such losses ? have they... May be i am note sure. *

When Mr.Chidambaram brought service taxes & (VAT) , he said nothing to worry, the tax is limited to limited services. In subsequent budgets his stands changed. Are they any differnt from what britishers did to us??

*am a Kid to Business world !

Note:
To my knowledge a Typcial crude oil refineries produces LPG, Gasoline, Kerosene, Diesel, Fuel oil, Lubricating oil, Paraffin wax, Asphalt and Tar as products...Even the residues are produced as Tar ! Even then why is this loss & High price ?..... The key answer is the DEMAND is going Higgggghhhhhh day by day. :-)
HEROISM in Movies... Still, how looooong ?

How can you watch Movies with the same old heroism for so many years? With Different Hero’s playing the same role? How can one Hero speak the truth and bash up 100 men or more? How long can we watch ageing heroes dancing with 20 0r 30 group dancers and wooing teenage heroines. How long can we watch the same old roles by heroes? Don’t we want to see new innovative scripts, screen plays, different performances like Mozhi, Paruthiveeran, Chennai-28, Kattradhu Tamizh, Veyil, Kaaka Kaaka, Unnaale Unnaale, Autograph, Thavamai Thavamirundhu, Vetayadu Vilayadu.

I agree Cinema is an entertainment medium and it has different faces. Every human has some colorful dreams and fantasies and when some are successful in bringing those dreams & fantasies in screen for people to enjoy, looses the reality & Repeating that in several movies, spoils the total commercial movies trend. Yeah! You can make movies with realities, fantasies, social awareness etc. People in different parts of the world have different taste; practices, choices and you will be an idiot if you say only my taste is THE BEST. I enjoy the masala movies of KS Ravikumar, Rajinikanth, Ajit, and Vijay and at the same time I watch and enjoy the movies of Cheran, Adoor Gobalakrishnan too. You do not have the right to criticize the taste of others. You can criticize the Barathanatyam in terms of Barathanatyam logistics but you can’t criticize Barathanatyam comparing to Kuchupodi. Watch Masala movies as Masala movies and Art films as art films. What matters is the Enjoyment... Entertainment!

I like to clarify that I am not a Tamil movie basher or any other language movies; I do respect all languages & their culture. In fact, I would like to know different kinds of cultures, traditions and practices…. which can only be watched in Movies, That’s the reason why I have started watching all languages & kinds of movies. I just don’t like heroism in all Indian/Hollywood movies without the reality. People call heroism as entertainment and I beg to differ here. What is an entertainment? 1 hero bashing up 100 people coming in trucks with swords? Good movies are Masala movies and Art movies are not entertaining movies. Many good movies have come in Bollywood movies like Chak De, Rang De Basanti, Life in a metro, Guru, Gandhi my father etc. But now a day’s lots of Hindi movies just exploit sex & women, most of the movies releases with 1 or 2 item songs… They just give importance to Glamour, than to the story. Different producers & Directors end up in making cheap sensual movies that tickle audience and fleece their pockets. Many movies are made with the label of art films but actually the producers, as George Orwell comments, ‘exploit white women's legs'. Actors also accepts the weird movie offers to favor the quick source of money. The value of true acting has ebbed out, now what remains is the exposure of flesh.

Thanks to the Directors who has made good enough movies & I... we Still expect more from you Brains !!
During the Childhood days… all your Teachers & Parents pressured us to score more marks to get Good rank… Then in high schools they again pressured you for scoring enough in order to get into good Engineering College… Soon after the graduation… Some how everyone gets in to the Job, though desired or not… STOP! I am not here to find fault with their pressures, because they got a valid reason for their stress… So you planned each & every essential steps very carefully... But, What NEXT? Marriage is the only answer from the Parents/Life??? Aren’t there any things else in life?? I just want to know....

N.B:
I am not here to discuss about Merits & demerits about Marriage.

TITLE: Why do one want to Marry in their life ?

I know this is quite EARLY for me to discuss this topic, But then this discussion happened yesterday with my pals in the MMK ... (weird ! what is MMK ? Mokkai Munetra Kalagam, Sorry for those who don't understand Tamil, I don't know Translation for this),we discussed about all possible issues, problems that one faces in their daily life after marriage… We all know that opinion differs from each person in different perspectives. So, What do you obtain after the so called marriages ? Satisfaction? Responsibility? … If you have had noticed in your life, you very well know how hard your parents struggled in their life in all aspects of life - Money, Security, Finance, Children & their Studies? ….why to struggle so much? Which makes ones mind narrow, Do you want such an operation of Marriage?

Why do U want to Marry ?
