Paruthiveeran – Pakka Veeran

Following the movies 'Mounam Pesiyathe', 'Raam', director Ameer is on to his third venture titled 'Paruthi Veeran'. The Director has become more professional in Shots, Story, Screenplay.

The film has introduced Karthi as the hero [Brother of Actor SURYA] along with actress Priyamani.

After a long time, I had the contentment of watching a movie without a fight, no much masala, no rubbish comedy and a good story line. It really took my heart beyond the city culture to take me to the countryside, in fact to my native. The story line is simple, another youth story with love threaded in it.

While 'Mounam Pesiyathe' was a beautiful one side love story of a different type, and 'Raam' a murder-suspense thriller, This “Paruthiveeran” third film axis on a youth from a village with a heart sensitive to the human suffering around him who is rough by nature.
Not to mention the role of Priyamani. She was never show figure but for this movie, perfect selection by Ameer & the team. She was the perfect fit for the Muthaalagu character. She showed the pain when she was talking to Karthik on scene how she loves him. This role can't be imagined for any other lead actress now in the field. She was amazing.

Screenplay was very detail and it really shows the village impact. Dialogues are very well thought out. Well directed by Ameer, whos objective is to win a national award. The film has nothing do with real-life.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed six tunes and taken two village temple festival songs sung by local folk singers. Another highlight of the film is Ramji's camera work. He has shot the entire film using only natural light. Amir attempts to depict the simplicity and the uncomplicated life of villagers through incidents in the life of the protagonist.

Very good film and a must watch for all.

Plus Points: Characters, Acting, Screenplay, Direction, Music, Camera.

Minus Points: Is there any ??
